BSc Honours in Counselling Psychology Degree Programme

Course Description

The main objective of the four-year BSc Honours in Counselling Psychology degree is to enhance knowledge, attitudes and skills of undergraduates suitable for a professionally qualified graduate in the field of Counseling Psychology. Through this programme it is expected to provide opportunities for secondary education level qualified students to obtain an accredited professional degree in counselling psychology discipline who will be competent in all the prescribed subjects in the curriculum. Also, through this programme it is expected to develop many transferable skills that are essential for the 21st century needs such as verbal and written communication, teamwork, ability of using information technology, critical thinking, problem solving and application of knowledge and skills in the disciplines of counselling and psychology.
