BCI held its Orientation Day-2022, on 2nd of April, Saturday which was designed to prepare the prospective students for success in the four-year degree programmes. More than 65 students and their parents joined the programme which exposed them to a rich array of opportunities for them to learn, grow and discover their career path.
Through the orientation programmes it was aimed at assisting the undergraduates to choose their pathway while developing knowledge and skills that will contribute to acquiring a place in the complex and interconnected world. With numerous corporate partnerships, BCI provides not only the knowledge but the much-needed training and internships which will prepare the undergraduate to secure a place in the job market.
The event provided the opportunity for the students to meet the lecturers, talk about their interests and aspirations and experience campus life and its facilities in advance. The keynote speech was delivered by Ms. Ruwani Perera of University of Kelaniya on the topic “Eyes to the future” which addressed the pressing challenges of the world and enlightened undergraduates on how to overcome them.
. Parallel to the orientation day event distribution of the certificates and awards to the students who successfully completed the University Preparation Programme was also held at the BCI Auditorium. BCI possesses a talented faculty who will apply their expertise to what they deliver to the students.
